Fashion Photography

  1.  They got ride of marks such as pimples, made the neck smaller, made the eyes bigger, they made her hair curly and they made it bigger, the made her jaw line more pronounced and finally they made her neck longer.

Questions:

  1. No because it make people in todays world want to look like that person but they can't because its not fiscally possible.
  2.  No its just all wrong everyones beautiful in there own way but sadly our society has made it were you have to be skinny or tan or what ever that makes you "beautiful" to be excepted in society.
  3. I think make up is ok but personally implants and photoshop are both just wrong I just want people to be happy with them selfs.
  4. Fashion photography is aimed towards making people "beautiful" while photojournalism is aimed toward telling a story.
  5. Photography is most of the time closely related to reality and it captures a moment in time or something we are presenting; however it can be distorted and changed by photoshop or other editing programs
  6. I think you showed us these videos because your want us to realize that not everything you see is true and to make us realize that companies will do anything to make there product more appealing.
  7. I think the reason that there are no videos of companies photoshopping men to look better is because is society women use products to "make them look prettier" and because if guys are imperfect then it just adds to there carter and its still socially acceptable but for women to be "imperfect" is not ok and there life should be there whole world witch is just wrong.

  1. I liked the picture of the Beatles having a a pillow fight because it shows the inside peak on an iconic band that i happen to be fortunate enough to grow up listening to.

However after watching the Beatles play he changed his mind. As he got to see the Beatles life on tour he took the picture of them having a pillow fight such a childish thing for soon to be legend to do.

"For W’s December/January Art Issue, the magazine collaborated with artist Yayoi Kusama to create this iconic cover image depicting George Clooney. The visually arresting image is the highlight of the cover story, for which five leading female artists were invited to create interpretive portraits of the actor. Clooney wears a suit painted by Kusama with her signature polka dots and stands against a polka-dotted backdrop. Planned to coincide with the opening of an exhibition of new work by Kusama at David Zwirner Gallery, the cover makes a powerful reference to the artist’s iconic self-portraits."

I like the photos however I would say its kinda bugs my eyes and is hard to read because of the polka-dots and how it contrasts to the red lettering it would have been easier to read if they put red lettering on a black back ground more is not always better.

the artist is implying that there is a big day coming up for someone by the formality of the photo Gorge Clooney is wearing a suit which also implies that a formal event is coming up.

  1. Image based
  2. Illusion based
  3. Type based
  4. Concept based
An image based magnetize cover is a simple magazine cover normally with one main subject. The illusion based magnetize covers are look 3D and look hand drawn more then printed. Type based magnetizes are more words then picture and are shocking in what they say. Concept based magnetizes covers are very blunt on what there point is and what there trying to convey.

The relationship between words and picture is very important if one is lacking it can effect the other however if one is simple but good and the other one is very extravagant they don't make since together because they don't reflect each other.

African and abandon amusement parks

  1. I was amazed how committed that Nick was to his phtographyy. that he would stay in the plans of Africa a pretty harsh environment. I was also amazed by how close he could get to these huge terrifying animals.

3. This is my favorite picture by Nick Brandt because of the lighting use ad also because of how dark the picture its such a drag setting and you can really feel that when you look at the picture.
4. The rule of thirds is the most apparent which is a rule that state you should not have things center in your picture you should have them little to the right or left and up or down on one of thought sides.
5.  The camera he used a Pentax 6II with only two fixed lenses this is important because this allows us to know how to recreate some of Nick Brandts art
6. He took these picture so he could raze harness of poaching
7. His hope that the pictures that he took could help prevent poaching of the wile life in Africa

Picture with f/2.8

Image result for picture taken with f32 aperture

Picture with f/32

  1. The eye is easily related to aperture.
  2.  The smaller the aperture the blurrier the back ground the higher the aperture the more focused the back ground.
  3. If you have a high aperture then you can give the appearance of depth or 3D in the picture but if you have a low aperture then you can give the appearance of close up 2D affect.

Image result for picture taken at ISO 200

  1. The advantages of sooting in a higher ISO for a football game or something with action in it is that you can capture the action as its happening without having blur.
  2. However you should use low ISO in a low light situation so that you don't have a fuzzy picture.
  3. You want to use a high ISO when your capturing a fragment of an action when there is plenty of light.

  1. Aperture: 2.8, 4, 8, 11, 16, and 22.
  2. Shutter speed: 1, 1/60, and 1/4000
